Application:  · Routine water microbiological analyses · Suspended solids estimation in liquid samples · Any other estimations requiring membrane filtration    (pollutants in liquids, radioactivity, waste water analyses).

 

The equipment consists of vacuum manifold for 3 or 6 filtration spots and from filtration units MIKROLAB 50 (3 or 6 pcs), individually nestled down in the manifold. The system could be completed by a sterilization stand for 3 to 6 pcs of MIKROLAB 50 units. The filtration unit MIKROLAB 50 itself consists of the body with the stem which contains the valve. The membrane lies on sintered stainless steel support plate. On this body there is placed the 100, 250 or 500 ml funnel and fixed together by two independent springs.

Laboratory Pervaporation Test Unit   for flat membranes and tubular ceramic membranes serves for testing of pervaporation or vapor permeation processes.

 

Function: The input solution is fed into the cell with a flat membrane or into the module with tubular ceramic membrane. 11. Simulated Moving Bed chromatograf   SMB

 

Simulated Moving Bed (SMB) Pilot Plant Chromatograph.  In the picture there is the plastic functional model of identical stainless steel SMB, which is being tested at Technical University  of Prague. The unit consists of distributing head with power unit and pumps and from 8 pcs of stainless steel column (ID 25 mm, length 2000 mm). 

 

The simulated moving bed technology is gaining a great role nowadays in continuous chromatographic separations of fine chemicals and pharmaceutical products, racemic mixtures or optical isomers separations. Separation of pure fructose from pure glucose is another example from food industry. SMB implies a simulated countercurrent movement between the solid and the fluid phase which is most efficient in terms of separation performance and eluent consumption.

Dynamic cell for MF, UF, NF, RO experiments with flat sheet 76 mm diameter membranes discs. Circular disc type of a cell with uniform tangential velocity guaranteed by variable height of the circular channel. Description: Filtration - Sedimentation Cell for CSF cytological examination is a new device for spontaneous sedimentation of cellular elements of body  liquors based on the J. Sayk principle. Gravitation force is applied which is deduced from a load resulting in approximately constant and measured pressure in the contact surface between the sedimentation cylinder, filtration paper and preparation glass. The device is made of stainless steel, and its relatively simple construction allows easy manipulation, maintenance and reproducibility of results.

Membrane twin module guarantees absolutely continuous operation for several weeks without any brakes for back-flush. One part of the module is always in separation function, the other part is in the same time in the regime of sanitation. The amount of liquid pumped from bio-reactor is 300 l/hour.
